Defense Minister inspects troops in Nakhchivan
Baku/31.10.18/Turan: On Thursday the Minister of Defense Zakir Hasanov inspected the advanced positions of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in Nakhchivan, the press service of the Defense Ministry reported. According to the same source, the Minister got acquainted with the new positions in the area of the Gunnyut village, at the height of Gizilgaya, as well as with the engineering structures and army facilities created there.
A day earlier, the minister observed the tactical exercises of military units of special forces stationed in Nakhchivan. The above-mentioned territories came under the control of the Azerbaijani side during the operation in May-June 2018. The previously indicated territories of Azerbaijan (over 100 hectares) were in fact a neutral strip. -02D-
