Documents of Jamil Hasanli are submitted to the CEC
Documents of the presidential candidate, a member of the National Council of Democratic Forces (NCDF) Jamil Hasanli have been submitted to the CEC today. He was nominated as a reserve single candidate for the presidency of Azerbaijan from NCDF. Under the law, within five days the CEC should review the documents, and make an informed decision whether to approve or not the nomination.
If his candidacy is approved, the candidate shall be issued petitions to collect 40,000 signatures.
A reserve candidate was nominated in connection with issues relating to the possible blocking by CEC of the candidacy of Rustam Ibrahimbayov as the single candidate from the NCDF. —06D-
