Baku/24.08.21/Turan: The trial against the ex-head of the executive power of the city of Baku, Rasim Guliyev, continues in the Baku Court for Serious Crimes.

Guliyev is faced with eight years of imprisonment.
At the meeting, the former official pleaded not guilty as saying that he was not aware of the historical value of the architectural monument and signed an order based on the conclusion of appropriate experts. As viewed by Guliyev, there was a positive review of chief architect Akif Abdullayev for the construction. Besides, the head of the construction inspection, Nadir Adygezalov issued a permit for construction work, Guliyev continued
In September 2017, Guliyev was entrusted with duties of vice-mayor.
And after that, on April 21, 2018, after Hajibala Abutalibov became Deputy Prime Minister, Guliyev actually began to perform duties of the head of the Baku government. He noted that this issue was verbally agreed with the head of the Presidential Administration Ramiz Mehdiyev.
