Heydər Əsədov
Baku / 03.04.19 / Turan: By the presidential decree, Heydar Asadov was appointed rector of the State Maritime Academy.
In the 2013-2018 Asadov served as Minister of Agriculture. Previously, he headed the Accounts Chamber, and before that he headed the state treasury and at the same time was the first deputy minister of finance.
After the extraordinary presidential elections of April 11, 2018, Ilham Aliyev did not include him in the new government. -06D--

Misinformation in social networks around the Russian House in Baku is aimed at undermining Russian-Azerbaijani ties. This was reported by the Russian Foreign Ministry on the evening of February 11.

The General Prosecutor's Office conducted an investigation into the illegal mining and unlawful land seizure in the Garadagh, Binagadi, and Khazar districts of Baku, as well as in the Terter region. Facts of illegal extraction of building stone, sand, and gravel were established, carried out by unknown individuals who unlawfully seized land plots.

President Ilham Aliyev approved the Azerbaijani-Russian intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in transit cargo transportation along the "North-South" international transport corridor (ITC) on February 11, 2025. The agreement was signed on December 21, 2024, by the heads of the transport ministries of both countries.
