Former President of Kyrgyzstan Deprived of Immunity
Baku / 27.06.19 / Turan: 103 out of 110 deputies of the country's parliament voted for the deprivation of immunity of the former President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev, RIA Novosti reports. Earlier, the Prosecutor General"s deprivation of Atambayev"s immunity was approved.
Almazbek Atambayev was the President of Kyrgyzstan from 2011 to 2017. After resigning as head of state, he was the leader of the ruling Social Democratic Party of Kyrgyzstan (SDPK). In May, he resigned from the party leadership and suspended his membership.
A special commission created by the country's parliament accused Atambayev of concealing income and corruption. On June 17, nine lawsuits were started against him. -02D-

The Azerbaijani parliament has approved the formation of new municipalities through the consolidation of existing ones, aiming to enhance administrative efficiency and local governance. The move, based on amendments to the law on "Joint Activities, Mergers, Separation, and Dissolution of Municipalities," was sanctioned under Article 95 of the Constitution.
