When Returning to Liberated Territories, Priority to Be Given to Those Living in Unusable Buildings
Baku/06.03.21/Turan: The return of internally displaced persons to their homes will be possible after the start of the Great Return program. Rebuilding cities and villages is impossible in 1 or 2 years. This was stated by President Ilham Aliyev yesterday at the congress of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party.
The return of internally displaced persons will be phased, he stressed.
“Until now, over 300 thousand IDPs have been provided with houses and apartments. Therefore, when returning, priority will be given to those who still live in kindergartens, dormitories, or buildings adapted for housing,” the President said.
Note that in order to identify the number of migrants wishing to return to their homes, an online survey is being conducted, which has been open since February 18.
The participants are asked to answer 18 questions. -0-
