Baku/01.09.21/Turan: In the past day, 3845 new cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in Azerbaijan, while 3876 people recovered, and 41 died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on September 1.
The total number of infected people amounted to 428 736 people, recovered - 370 002, died 5 677, and the number of active patients - 53 057. Over the last day, 19102 tests were made.
Thus, for the first time in the past two months, the number of people who recovered per day exceeded the number of infected. 105,699 doses of vaccines were administered per day.
65 968 people were vaccinated with the first dose, 39 731 with the second.
The total number of vaccines used was 6,911,439.
