An explosion occurred in a multi-storey residential building
Baku/02.01.22/Turan: On January 2, an explosion occurred in a multi-storey residential building located on Javadkhan Street, Binagadi district of Baku.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations told the Turan agency that there was no fire as a result of the explosion. "The fire protection units of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the corresponding rescue forces of the Rescue Service of Special Risk are involved in rescue operations."
The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told Turan that the explosion occurred on the top floor of the building. "The police interact with employees of the relevant state structures. Security measures are being taken.
According to preliminary data, one person was killed and two were injured as a result of the incident."
As Turan was informed in the Territorial Medical Units Management Association (Təbib), 5 teams of the Baku Ambulance and Emergency Medical Care station were involved in the scene of the incident.—0-
