Caspian Ships Sent Storm Warning
Baku / 05.10.18 / Turan: Due to the sharp deterioration of weather conditions on October 5-6, Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping CJSC sent out a storm warning to ships at sea.
According to the head of the press service of the company, Mehman Mehdiyev, the crews of vessels are called upon to take security measures and ensure the transfer of ships to shelters.
On these days, the captains and chief mechanics of ships stationed in ports must be on ships and provide security measures.
Ships entering the raid and already on the way should plan their movements to the shelters in advance.
Meanwhile, the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Environment warned about the strengthening of the storm wind.
According to weather forecasts, on October 5 and 6 in Baku and Absheron a strong north-west wind will blow up to 25 meters per second. Rain is expected, and the temperature will drop by 5-8 degrees. -03D-
