Karabakh Committee Again Refused to Hold Rally
Baku / 13.03.19 / Turan: The executive branch of Baku did not allow a rally of the Karabakh public committee, scheduled for March 16, demanding that decisive measures should be taken to liberate the occupied territories.
In response, the executive power said the authorities are taking the necessary measures for this.
* The Karabakh Committee was established in the summer of 2018 with the participation of 17 public organizations: the Karabakh Liberation Organization; the "Classic" Popular Front Party, the Nationalist Action Party, the Civil Solidarity Party, the Islamic Party, the National Democratic Party, and others.
On September 29, the Committee held a rally at the Mehsul Stadium. However, since then the authorities have not authorized meetings of the Karabakh committee. -03B06-

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.

During the operation of the Main Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 5 members of an organized group engaged in drug trafficking were detained. All of them have previous convictions: Bahlul Ismayilov, Royal Aliyev, Khayal Aliyev, Samir Aghayev, and Ali Mammadli.
