PFPA Activist Raeel Rustamli Detained in Sabirabad
Baku / 25.09.16 / Turan: An activist of the Sabirabad district branch of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan, Raeel Rustamli, was arrested by local police on Saturday morning.
PFPA believes the reason for Rustamli's detention was his protest in social networks on the Internet against the arrest of his father, also PFPA activist, Sahib Rustamli, who was arrested administratively for 15 days on the day following the meeting on 17 September.
In addition, Raeel Rustamli fought legally in defense of his father and was preparing an appeal against his arrest.
'Local law enforcement officers sent to Raeel Rustamli threats that if he did not "calm down", he would also be arrested,' the PFPA spokeswoman Gezal Bayramli said.
PFPA expressed concern that Raeel Rustamli may be tortured. In this regard, PFPA urged the human rights and international organizations and the Western diplomatic corps not to remain indifferent to the activist's fate. -06D--

Many, recognizing the futility of resistance, settle for inadequate monetary compensation for their irreplaceable property. A minority, placing faith in the Housing Code, demand fair compensation from construction companies but often lose everything—both their homes and any form of recompense.
