Prosecutor is wound during the hunt
The Prosecutor of the Military Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan, Rahman Ahmadov, was wounded in hunting, as a result of careless handling of weapons. According to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, the preliminary investigation revealed that Ahmad was taken to hospital with injuries from firearms on 24 January. On this day Rahman Akhmedov with friends was hunting near the village of Hilmilli in Gobustan region. At around 21:00 they went to a nearby farm where Akhmedov’s friend Idris Murtuzov inadvertently fired Akhmedov from a hunting weapon.
A lawsuit was filed on the matter under the Article 131.1 (causing less serious damage to health by negligence), assigned the appropriate expertise.
Ongoing investigative activities in the Investigation Department for Serious Crimes of the Prosecutor General's Office; internal investigation is going on in relation to the military prosecutor Akhmedov.
Hunting for grouse and hares is possible in this area. However, at 21:00 hunting is not allowed. At this time at around 18:00 it becomes dark.
