Shirin Abbasov arrested without a court order
Narimanov district court did not pass a decision on administrative arrest of the reporter Shirin Abbasov, his lawer Elchin Sadigov wrote on his Facebook. He also posted on the official response to the Narimanov District Court on to his request.
The reporter Shirin Abbasov was detained on September 16 on the street. A few days later the lawyer was told in the General Directorate for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs that Abbas was contained in this department on the basis of a court decision on administrative detention for 30 days for "disobeying the police."
According to the territorial jurisdiction, administrative and criminal cases pending before the GUBOP, are considered in the Narimanov District Court of Baku. However Narimanov Court sent the lawyer an official response that the court had not considered the case of Abbasov. -03D-
