Violations of the rights of the former Security Minister of Nakhchivan stopped
Violations of the rights of Vali Aleskerov, the arrested ex-Minister of National Security of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, stopped, according to his lawyer Vugar Hasan. Violations ceased after the press conference by lawyers at the end of April, where they talked in detail about the torture and pressure on the arrested general of state security. According to the lawyer, the defense sent the appropriate request to the Attorney General with a request to transfer the case from the prosecution to the Prosecutor of Nakhchivan.
Alasgarov was dismissed on December 18, 2015. On March 7, 2016 he was arrested, and on 29 March he was transferred to house arrest. General was charged with abuse of office and embezzlement. The defendant denies the charges, considering himself innocent. -05B-
