Presentation of Documentary Film "The Crew of Armored Vehicle No 258" in Agdam
On Saturday in the village Guzanly of the Agdam region was a presentation of the documentary "The crew of armored vehicle N258», devoted to the participants of the battle for the city of Agdam in the summer of 1993.
The event was organized by the Executive Power of Agdam with participation of the Association of veterans of the Karabakh war.
The film tells the story of soldiers of the Second Battalion, 708 Brigade of Azerbaijani Armed Forces, which in the course of fighting on the outskirts of Agdam on June 12 destroyed advanced units of the Armenians and their commander, the notorious terrorist Monte Melkonyan.
The film widely used archival materials, expert opinions and the military itself.
It talks about the merits of armored vehicle No 258, whose crew destroyed Melkonyan.
The filmmakers clearly and convincingly prove that the claims of Ibad Huseynov that he cut off Melkonyan’s head are fiction.
The real heroes killed Melkonyan in heavy fighting, but have not yet received their awards.
Agdam public, veterans and students very warmly received the film and authors of the tape and thanked them for an honest story and principled position.
With special warmth Agdam residents welcomed the sole surviving member of the crew of vehicle No 258 Azaddin Musayev, who today continues his service as tank commander, and the commander of the battalion Colonel Khatai Bakhyshev. -02B-

People seek to learn about past eras by conducting research on the internet, watching films, or being regular attendees of theatrical performances. Some periods in cultural history have not been deeply studied, and finding precise, detailed information in the Azerbaijani language is nearly impossible. One such period is the Qajar era, which lasted from 1794 to 1985.
