Imports of cars decreased by 2 times
Baku/16.05.14/Turan : In April this year were imported to Azerbaijan 4221 vehicle , which is about two times less than in March ( 8339 ) . The sharp decline in imports is caused by using vehicles from the 1st April of new environmental regulations on emissions of exhaust Euro-4.
For four months 26,732 vehicles were delivered to the country from abroad, which is 13% less than in the comparable period of 2013. The share of passenger cars (23,893) in the structure of imports amounted to 89.3 %. This percentage is proportional to the figure for the same period last year (27,700) .
Since the beginning of the year was also imported: buses - 148 (for the same period in 2013 -335), trucks – 2 496 (2 356) and special equipment - 195 (305). - 08D-
