In August, securities turnover at NDC fell by 5.2 %
The National Depository Center released data on exchange and OTC transactions with corporate securities registered in August. According to these data, the average size of concluded over the counter transactions for the month increased by 34.8% to 145.2 thousand manats.
In August, the OTC platform concluded 19 transactions, the total amount of which was 2,757.9 thousand manats. Compared with July, the number of transactions decreased by 8 and the sum - by 150 thousand manats.
According to NDC, the amount of the registered secondary trading of corporate securities amounted to 104,352.7 thousand manats. Of these, 332.5 thsd or 0.31 % is the exchange share turnover (data of BSE).
The volume of the placement of corporate securities amounted to 78.5 mln, down by 38.2% since July.
BSE continues to hide information on the specific OTC transactions. According to the rules of SSC, the Exchange shall publish them one day later, after receiving information from the depositary. In Azerbaijan, contrary to law, data on insider transactions are not disclosed.
Total registered in August by NDC, the volume of transactions with corporate securities amounted to 183.8 million manat, which is 5.2 % less than in July. - 08D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
