Official data on Internet users in Azerbaijan
Official data on users of virtual resources in Azerbaijan has been publicshed.
According to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), last year the number of Internet service users reached 70 per 100 citizens (in 2011 it was 65). From 2008 to 2013 the number of Azerbaijanis joining the worldwide network has doubled.
Volumes for the incoming international channels increased 12.9-fold - from 324 kbit / s to 4187 kbit / s for every 100 internet users. This is due to the development of infrastructure, increasing access to fiberoptic networks, multiple lowering prices for Internet services (12.5 times in the last 5 years.)
In 2012, the market for Internet services increased by 4 times due to an increase in the level of computerization of the country.
According to the analysis of statistical data on the results of the Ministry over 2012, the country's share of having computers in households is 47.7%, while having the access the Internet 64.4%. --17D—

Data on Azerbaijan's oil exports for January-October 2024 reveals a significant drop in both volume and value compared to the same period last year, highlighting the challenges facing the oil-dependent economy. The country exported 495,484.05 tons of oil products worth $309.02 million, a decrease of 40.3% in value and 40.7% in volume compared to 2023, when exports totaled 925,225.07 tons worth $572.21 million.
