Transit to Asia via Azerbaijan will be cheaper than via Russia

Turkish trucks carrying goods which stuck  on the Russian customs  will go to the  Central Asia through Azerbaijan, reported  the Turkish edition of the Daily News. Baku has given permission to do so, said the Association of International Carriers. At the same time, the cost of transit through Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan will be reduced for trucks by 40%. The fee for the ferry from Baku across the Caspian Sea will be reduced by 20%.

After the tightening of Russian customs procedures on the border formed heavy-kilometer queues, driven goods in Russia and in the countries of Central Asia.

"Because of this will be used the Caspian route. If the ferry across the Caspian Sea  start working at full load, then the cost of travel expenses for trucks will fall by 30%," said the head of the Association of Cetin Nuhoglu. -02D-
