Baku/12.08.23/Turan: On August 12 at 15:00, members of illegal Armenian armed detachments in the territory of Azerbaijan, where the Russian peacekeepers are temporarily deployed, using small arms subjected to fire the Azerbaijan Army positions stationed in the direction of the Khojavand region.
The Azerbaijan Army Units took adequate retaliatory measures in the mentioned direction.

The General Prosecutor's Office conducted an investigation into the illegal mining and unlawful land seizure in the Garadagh, Binagadi, and Khazar districts of Baku, as well as in the Terter region. Facts of illegal extraction of building stone, sand, and gravel were established, carried out by unknown individuals who unlawfully seized land plots.

President Ilham Aliyev approved the Azerbaijani-Russian intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in transit cargo transportation along the "North-South" international transport corridor (ITC) on February 11, 2025. The agreement was signed on December 21, 2024, by the heads of the transport ministries of both countries.
