Ilham Aliyev appoints heads of administrative-economic courts
On 25 February the President Ilham Aliyev made appointments in the administrative-economic courts system. Rashid Rzayev was transferred from the post of the head of the Baku Administrative Economic Court N 2 to the post of chairman of the Baku Administrative Economic Court N 1.
Chingiz Bashirov was dismissed from the post of the judge of Sumgayit Administrative-Economic Court, and was appointed the head of the Baku Administrative Economic Court N 2.
Usameddin Osmanov was appointed the head of Sheki administrative and economic court.-06D-

The Prosecutor's Office is investigating the deaths of two people during the recent floods in Baku, Baku Mayor Eldar Azizov said commenting on the consequences of the flooding of tunnels in the capital during the heavy rains on October 22 to journalists. According to him, the sewer system could not handle the large volume of floodwater, which led to the drowning of two people in a tunnel in the Sabunchu district of Baku. The floods revealed vulnerabilities in Baku's water infrastructure.
