Session of Azerbaijan-Turkey Military Dialogue
Baku / 05.11.19 / Turan: On November 5, the 12th session of the Azerbaijan-Turkey Military Dialogue at the highest level opened in Baku. According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense, during the meeting the delegations of the two countries will consider the current state of military ties and discuss the main directions of activity for the future.
The co-chair of the meeting from the Azerbaijani side is Deputy Minister of Defense Kerim Veliyev, from the Turkish side - the second chief of the General Staff Metin Gyurak. Discussions in the framework of the military dialogue will end on November 7th.
During a separate meeting between Metin Gurak and Minister of Defense Zakir Hasanov, the parties discussed the holding of joint military exercises with the participation of Pakistani, Georgian and Turkish-speaking countries. -02D-

On November 13, representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the Afghan Taliban held talks in Baku as part of the COP29 conference. According to a report by Turan correspondent, the discussions took place behind closed doors and lasted for over an hour. No statements were made to the press following the meeting. Furthermore, conference security prevented journalists from asking questions to the meeting participants.

Kichikhanim Khalilova, the wife of arrested public activist and first-group disabled person, Famil Khalilov, reported being followed during her time at the COP29 conference on November 13. She had been accredited in the "Green Zone" as a civil rights activist. From the moment she entered the conference area, a young man began to follow her.
