The arrested youth activist of NİDA Rashad Hasanov was not allowed to meet with his lawyer Asabali Mustafayev yesterday.
Hasanov was arrested in the afternoon and taken to the Office of General Prosecutor for Serious Crimes. According to the lawyer Mustafayev, he waited in the office all evening, but was not allowed to Hasanov. The lawyer said Hasanov was detained under the investigative action. But what the activist is accused of they have not said.
Recall that on March 7 three activists of NIDA - Shahin Novruzlu, Bakhtiyar Guliyev and Mammad Azizov were detained. The court sanctioned their arrest for three months on charges of possession of drugs and explosives. The investigation revealed they had drugs and "Molotov cocktails" in their apartments, but their family members say it was all planted in their apartments by DHS workers, who detained the young activists. -06B-
