Azerbaijani Mountaineers climb on Pamir seven-thousand

 

Early in the morning of August 11, Azerbaijani climbers began the assault the Peak Korzhenev on Pamir (7105 m.)
 
Four of our climbers (Sirhan Mamedov, Denis Leusov, Firuz Dadashov, and  Rufat Gojayev) started the assault from the camp at an altitude of 6350 meters,  according to the  head of the team, Sirhan Mamedov.
 
 Assault camp was established on the eve, the mountaineers spent the night there preparing  for decisive  climbing. 
 
According to the president  of the Mountaineering and Climbing Federation of Azerbaijan,  Israfil Ashurly,  the weather in the area of climbing  is good, and climbers must now conquer the summit and return to assault camp.
