Intigam Aliyev: president also is responsible for the death of a soldier
The responsibility for the death of a soldier Ceyhun Gubadov bear not only his killer, but also the authorities which are trying to hush up the case, said Intigam Aliyev, the head of Legal Enlightenment Society, commenting on the death of the soldier.
"Soldiers die not only in our army, but it is bad that the state does not investigate the facts and is trying to hide criminals. In normal countries, such crimes are seriously investigated, there is a social control, and the army is not used for election fraud for dirty goals in the political struggle.
If the photo of the deceased soldier did not get into the social network, this death, like hundreds of others, would be presented as an accident, suicide or careless handling of weapons," said Intigam Aliyev.
Criminals are not only those who killed the soldier, but also the authorities not punishing for these crimes. The responsibility for these deaths bear the Defense Minister, Safar Abiyev, and President, Supreme Commander, Ilham Aliyev.
A country where the authorities turn a blind eye to the killing, humiliation of soldiers, have very little chance of winning the war, if it starts, noted human rights activist.
Intigam Aliyev rejected the claim that the death of a soldier " should not be politicized." The army has been politicized, when the 18-year-olds were forced to vote during presidential and parliamentary elections for Ilham Aliyev or candidates of the ruling party.
"Those who say do not politicize the army, feel a threat to their power and will turn their weapons against the people," concluded Intigam Aliev.—06D-
