REAL announces its candidates for the parliamentary elections
The Movement "Republican Alternative» (REAL) will participate in the parliamentary elections of November 1, putting forward candidates for 17 districts, said at a press conference today the executive secretary Natig Jafarli movement. In addition, REAL will support Ruslan Izzyatli, the head of the Movement D18, four activists of NIDA, and the lawyer Mazahir Shahvalyadov. Among the candidates of REAL, is Jafarli and board members: Erkin Gadirli, Khalid Bagirov, Azer Gasimli, journalist Hafiz Babali, and the lawyer Alaif Hasanov. According to Jafarli, REAL decided to participate in the elections, despite the lack of opportunities for democratic elections, persecution of opposition members and others.
* REAL Movement is positioning itself as an alternative to the political system. REAL believes inevitable and positive the process of change of generations in the Azerbaijani politics. With regard to cooperation in the elections with other political forces, REAL has reached an agreement with the "Musavat" not to propagandize against each other, to jointly organize the monitoring of elections in districts where it is possible. -03C-
