Baku / 05.11.19 / Turan: The state of health of the human rights activist Ogtay Gyulalyev remains steadily difficult, Professor Adyl Geybulla told Turan.
“Observation of the situation after surgery on October 30 gives reason to believe that there is no regression. He shows certain reflexes. Of the four coma degrees, he is in a second degree coma,” the doctor said.
Damage occurred in the cerebral cortex, where three hematomas were formed. During the operation, they were removed. However, edema and dislocation syndrome (brain compression) remain in the brain.
“Edema will gradually pass through a certain period. Unfortunately, there will be certain loss of brain function. There are problems in both hemispheres of the brain.
There is no regression in the state of Ogtay Gyulalyev, but there is no positive dynamics either,” said Geibulla.
According to him, the situation is under the constant supervision of doctors. The surgeon who operated on the activist and the resuscitator observe the patient every day.
The spouse of the human rights activist Firuza Gyulalyeva also noted that his health remains grave.
According to her, the human rights activist wa given a dropper in the city clinical center, where he was brought after the accident. Later immobility developed at him.
The woman also noted that due to her grave condition, she could not hire a lawyer or get interested in the investigation.— 05B06-
