The migration service detained another group of foreigners
Baku / 03.08.18 / Turan: On August 1-2, employees of the Migration Service of the country detained 42 foreigners for violations of Azerbaijan's migration legislation.
The Migration Service informs that among detainees are: 10 citizens of India, 7 - Turkmenistan, 5 - Georgia, 4 - Turkey, 2 UAE, 2 - Pakistan, 2 - Iraq, 2 - Tajikistan, 1 - Great Britain, 1 - Russia, 1 - Afghanistan, 1 - Ukraine, 1 - Moldova, 1 - Netherlands, 1 - the Philippines, and 1 - Iran.
25 people from the detainees lived in Azerbaijan illegally. The rest violated the order of being on the territory of the country. Administrative measures were taken against 31 foreigners. In relation to the others, the deportation procedure has been started. -02D-

According to the charge (Article 308 of the Criminal Code), if the accused can prove the disclosure was unintentional, they may face 3 to 7 years in prison.
