According to lawyer Samira Agaeva, such treatment is considered inhuman.

"Binding is not used as a method of treatment of drug addiction and alcoholism. To see this, it is enough to look at the methods of treatment of world clinics. The Article 3 of the European Convention on Human Rights states that no one shall be subjected to torture, inhuman or degrading treatment, and is regarded as inhuman treatment," S.
