Shusha protesters let ambulances with sick Armenians through
Baku/19.12.22/Turan: On 19 December the protesters on the Lachin road let the Red Cross and ambulance cars pass from the direction of Khankandi. Apparently, the ambulance was carrying those very seriously ill people whose need to be sent to Armenia was mentioned by the Armenian side.
This fact shows that there is no complete blockade of the Lachin road. The protesters and official Baku have repeatedly stated that the road is open for humanitarian purposes. -02D-

Today, the trial of paralyzed activist Famil Khalilov continued at the Baku Serious Crimes Court. During the session, he stated that he is a first-group disabled person but still has not been assigned a social worker for assistance. The judge noted that while the law does not require a social worker to be assigned to an inmate, he would appeal to the leadership of the pretrial detention facility "on humanitarian grounds."
