Part of the peacekeepers leave Karabakh
Baku/09.03.22/Turan: Part of the peacekeeping contingent of the Russian Armed Forces stationed in Karabakh left this zone. Video footage posted on social media shows trucks loaded with soldiers passing by the city of Shusha towards Armenia. According to unofficial data, the Russian military is being transferred to Ukraine, where Russian troops are suffering heavy losses.
The Russian Defense Ministry does not report a partial withdrawal of the peacekeeping contingent. The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry does not comment on the situation.
Recall that 1960 peacekeepers with armored personnel carriers and other equipment were deployed in Karabakh. -02B-
