AtaSigorta Elected Insurer on Property Insurance
Open Joint Stock Company AtaSigorta declared the winner of the open tender for insurance administrative building and containing the property of the Mortgage Fund under the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
"The leadership of this financial structure of the estimated achievement as confirmation of the high level of confidence in AtaSigorta on the part of state-owned companies and a consequence of the proper relationship to corporate and individual clients," Turan was told in the company.
JSC AtaSigorta, member of the group of companies AtaHolding, is one of the founders and member of the Bureau of Compulsory Insurance. It has operated in the insurance market since 2004 and operates on 22 types of voluntary and 4 types of compulsory insurance.
Paid-up share capital of the company reached 7.6 million manat in February.

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance. This figure, which includes reserves held by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), far exceeds the nation's external debt, which stands at a fraction of its reserves, specifically nearly 14 times less. This robust reserve position reflects Azerbaijan's fiscal stability and the government’s strategic economic management.
