Azercell president spoke at a conference related to mobile digital signature
Baku hosts conference on "ASAN-signature - key mobile government." The conference, organized by the Ministry of Taxes of Azerbaijan, was attended by Minister of Taxes Fazil Mammadov, Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov, chairman of the State Agency for services to citizens and social innovation in the Presidency Inam Karimov and others
According to a local mobile operator Azercell Telecom, its president Cyril Gaburici also spoke at the event. He pointed out the advantages of mobile signature, and also spoke about the services and achievements of Azercell in this area. The conference also made vice-president of TeliaSonera Eurasia, which includes Azercell, Tonya Grunberg. In his speech on "Development of ASAN signatures - from north to south," the vice president noted the unique services offered by the company.
The conference covered topics such as the role of ASAN-signatures in the development of e-services, the importance for the development of mobile government, business support, to encourage non-cash payments and other matters. The event was attended by representatives of government agencies, financial institutions, ICT companies and mobile operators. - 17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
