Infrastructure reconstructed on platform No 10
The works to restore power and communication on the platform No 10 of Guneshli field, which caught fire on Friday, are going on, Nizamaddin Guliyev, SOCAR press officer said at a press conference yesterday.
“By 8.00 p.m. we could find none of 23 missed oilmen. According to the weather forecast, tomorrow wind will get stronger, but rescue operations will be continued till we find every single missing oilman,” Guliyev said.
He said the works to restore electric energy and communication system are currently in progress on the platform.
Guliyev added that foreign experts are involved in the works to restore infrastructure on the platform. It is not ruled out that they could be involved in extinguishing of the fire, which continued on the gas well.—0—

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
