UNDP to Participate in Azerbaijan in Modernization of ICT Infrastructure
The Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan has reached an agreement with the Azerbaijani office of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) on the implementation of the new stage of the "Modernization of the Republic of Azerbaijan in ICT infrastructure and services" project.
In the framework of the project it is planned to cooperate with the Department of Economic and Social Affairs, United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, the State Network of the United Nations Administration, the United Nations Commission for Asia and the Pacific, as well as the local authorities of Azerbaijan, civil society, and business entities.
The project is also planned to carry out works to increase the national skills in the field of "e-participation", education in the field of open government information, the development of e-government infrastructure, and others. ----71D

According to official statistics from Azerbaijan, bilateral trade in 2023 reached 3.1 billion US dollars.
