Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan Could Meet in May
Azerbaijan has agreed to the proposal of the co-chairs OSCE Minsk Group to hold a meeting of foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia, said the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister at today’s press conference. This announcement follows a meeting with the Foreign Minister of Slovakia, Miroslav Lajcak. Mammadyarov spoke of the possibility of such a meeting occurring in May.
As for the results of the Azerbaijani-Slovak talks, both sides supported the expansion of cooperation in various fields, including economic and energy spheres.—03D06--

The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) today issued five rulings on applications from Azerbaijan. The case of "Afgan Mammadov v. Azerbaijan" concerned the complainant's exclusion from the Bar Association. Mammadov was expelled based on a complaint filed by a colleague, which he considered unjust. The ECHR ruled that Mammadov's rights had been violated and ordered Azerbaijan to pay him €5,000 in compensation for moral damage and €1,000 to cover legal costs.
