Over 13,000 Soldiers Awarded Medals for Liberation of Kelbajar, Lachin, Aghdam
Baku / 30.12.20 / Turan: The President of Azerbaijan signed orders to award servicemen with medals "For the liberation of Kelbajar", "For the liberation of Aghdam" and "For the liberation of Lachin."
In total, over 13 thousand people, most of who are privates and sergeants, were awarded.
In particular, 5,203 servicemen, including one lieutenant general, 15 colonels, and 56 lieutenants, will receive medals "For the liberation of Kelbajar".
The medal "For the Liberation of Aghdam" was awarded to 2,267 military men, including one lieutenant general, 15 colonels, and 41 lieutenant colonels.
Another 5,775 military, including 5 colonels and 39 lieutenant colonels, were awarded the medal "For the Liberation of Lachin." –06D-

On January 13, the trial in the case of public activist Nijat Ibrahim continued in the Baku Serious Crimes Court under the chairmanship of Judge Aygun Gurbanova. The International Committee of Concerned Scholars (ICS) has appealed to the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, requesting his assistance in securing the release of the arrested researcher, Igbal Abilov.
