Red Cross workers visit Araik Ghazaryan
Baku /20.08.19 / Turan: On August 19, representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) visited the Armenian soldier Araik Ghazaryan. According to the Baku office of the organization, the visit took place in accordance with the ICRC standard rules.
According to the ICRC"s mandate, this organization monitors conditions of detention and helps detainees contact their families. Ghazaryan was captured on August 12 in the Fizuli direction.
According to the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, Ghazaryan deserted due to inhuman treatment from his colleagues. -016D-
