Blogger Namik Sadigli arrested for 30 days (updated)
Baku / 01.12.17 / Turan: By the decision of the Nasimi District Court, the People's Front party activist, blogger Namik Sadigli was arrested for 30 days. He was charged with committing an offense under article 535.1 (non-compliance with the lawful requirements of the police) of the Code of Administrative Offenses (CoAO), Turan was told by the PFPA. The party was told that the defense will appeal the arrest.

On November 30, the activist of the Popular Front Party, blogger Namik Sadigli was detained.
The PFPA members told Turan, Sadagli was taken to the 19th branch of the police of the Nasimi district of Baku. According to the same sources, he is charged under Article 535.1 (non-compliance with the lawful requirements of the police) of the Administrative Violations Code. He may be arrested for a period of one month. The blogger's case will be examined today in the court of Nasimi district of the capital. In what exactly was expressed "insubordination of the police," it is not known.
According to the PFPA activists, Sadigli was active in social networks and was involved in the placement of video clips about anti-government actions of the opposition there.
Currently in Azerbaijan under arrest are more than 10 journalists and bloggers. All of them are convicted for criticizing the policy of the authorities of the country. -05B-
