Baku / 01.05.17 / Turan: The State Veterinary Service (SVS) of the Ministry of Agriculture identified meat unfit for consumption in warehouses and vehicles of Elba 999. SVS established that it was meat of fallen cattle or animals slaughtered at the moment of agony.
During the raid on April 26, the employees of SVS and police on the Dashkesan-Ganja highway found packed boxes of frozen meat in a car brand Hyundai (99-KV-790) driven by Namik Aliyev. The meat was taken from the meat processing factory Elba 999. During the inspection of the factory, 5,680 kg of meat was found in the first refrigerating chamber. Lab tests in SVS showed that the meat was of fallen cattle or belonged to animals slaughtered in a state of agony. The meat was infected with bacteria dangerous for humans. The materials were sent for investigation to the Police Department of the Dashkesan district.
In respect of the company Elba 999 measures provided by law will be taken.
