Court Leaves Activist of PFPA Babek Hasanov in Custody
Baku / 04.08.18 / Turan: On 4 August, the Nasimi District Court of Baku rejected a petition for transferring Babek Hasanov, member of the Supreme Mejlis of the Popular Front Party (PFPA) of Azerbaijan, to house arrest.
During the meeting, the activist stated he did not consider himself guilty.
The court, however, did not take into account the arguments of the defense and did not take into account Hasanov's participation in the Karabakh war.
An appeal will be filed against the decision of the court, the PFPA reported.
