Doctors Not Brought to Justice on Case of Murder of Journalists
In the framework of the criminal investigation into the murder of the journalist Rasim Aliyev, none of the doctors has been held liable. Under arrest are only 5 people, who beat the journalist, and the football player Javid Gurbanov, with whom the reporter had a conflict. Turan was told by a law enforcement source.
The source denied information about the detention of another player in this case. "The athlete was called to the investigation, gave testimony and was released," the source said, noting that the investigation is being intensively conducted with the relevant examinations and evidence.
As for the doctors accused of failure to provide adequate assistance to the injured journalist, the source noted that the actions of the doctors were checked by the Ministry of Health. "So far, none of the doctors has been held liable," said the source.
Recall that on August 8, Rasim Aliyev was savagely beaten by the pals of Javid Gurbanov the soccer player. A day later he died in hospital. The conflict stemmed from the critical publication by Rasim on Facebook about the behavior of the football player on the field. After that, the athlete’s friends called him to talk and beat him.
A criminal case was filed under article 126.3 of the Criminal Code (serious bodily injury resulting in death). -03B-

The court ordered the property be returned to its rightful owner, Samaya Aliyeva. However, the Ministry of Justice intervened, citing a presidential decree from July 1, 2004, which approved a state program for improving the living and working conditions of refugees.
