In 2018, 722 people died on the roads of the country
Baku / 07.02.19 / Turan: Last year, 1817 accidents occurred on the country's roads, by 0.9% less than in 2017, the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan said.
As a result of these accidents, 2433 people suffered: 722 people died and 1711 were injured.
The death toll exceeded the figures for 2017 by 7.3%, and for the injured by 0.9%.
The number of traffic violations in 2018, compared with 2017 increased by 1.3%. For these violations, fines were issued in the amount of 85.6 million manat. -05D-
