Baku / 07.01.19 / Turan: Representatives of the Ombudsman visited the convicted blogger Mehman Huseynov, on a hunger strike on the 13th day.
According to the press service of the Ombudsman, representatives of this structure visited the Baku remand prison, where they met with Mehman Huseynov in a "confidential environment".
"His appeal was heard and his state of health and food intake were checked with the participation of the detention center"s doctor," the report said.
Representatives of the Ombudsman claim that Mehman Huseynov takes food, receives food parcels and is under the control of doctors.
