Baku / 01/14/19 / Turan: The state of health of Tarlan Ismayilov, who committed self-immolation in front of the police station in the Sulu Tepe village on the outskirts of Baku, remains grave. Burns cover 65% of his body, including the airways. Turan was told in the press service of the Ministry of Health.
The patient is currently in intensive care at the Plastic Surgery Clinic with a diagnosis of third-degree burns.
Tarlan Ismayilov"s father told Meydan TV that a fight had occurred in a cafe 3 months ago. Tarlan was there, too, and when he tried to call the service "102" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the fighters took the phone from him. The police launched an investigation, but there are no results.
"My son went to the police station and complained about a long investigation and asked to return the phone, which Tarlan purchased for 800 manat on credit. They argued with the investigator. The investigator said he would not return the phone and let Tarlan do what he wanted. Tarlan got into a fuss and committed self-immolation," Arif Islamov said.
In Police Station No. 40 the self-immolation fact was confirmed in a conversation with Turan News Agency. However, the duty officer said he did not know the causes of the incident. -03B06--
