Baku / 02.08.18 / Turan: Because of strong fires in the Siyazan, Shabran and Guba districts of the country in the last July days, the regional units of the State Fire Safety Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were transferred to the Agsu and Shamakhi districts, where mountain massifs were recorded new foci of ignition.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, on the night of August 2, a fire broke out in the forest between the Agsu and Shemakha regions in the forest and adjacent to the forest. Firefighters of the State Fire Service, as well as civil defense troops, personnel of the Special Risk Rescue Service, 2 units of the MI-17 helicopter of the air force (over 200 personnel and 20 units of equipment), staff of the local department of the Forestry Department economy of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources have been attracted.
This morning, after a stubborn struggle with the fire element, the fire was localized. According to the information of the press service of the executive power of the Agsu region, the fire is extinguished, work is underway to eliminate the consequences of the disaster, objects located on the territory are protected from fire.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations stresses that the cause of all fires is the human factor: people burn grass, not much worrying about the consequences. The dry summer and heat contribute to the emergence of fires. Work is carried out to identify the perpetrators of fires, their punishment in accordance with the law. -0--
