The reason for the lack of trust: the fear of the police, the education system and...
Baku/18.04.19/Turan: The video of Tural Garayev"s attack on the 14-year-old Sanai Gahramanly caused a great resonance in social networks.
According to the mother of a teenager Zumrud Yagmur, the attack lasted about half an hour, accompanied by insults. Despite the fact that this was happening in a crowded place, near the metro station "Academy of Sciences" around 17:30, no one intervened.
The video clearly shows that the police officer who crossed the road near the scene did not intervene in the conflict.
Psychologist Wafa Akbar believes that this event can be considered as evidence of an indifferent society. The reason for this indifference is its very essence. People do not try to help another in difficult times.
In addition, there is such a factor as "street psychology." If someone is being attacked on the street, it does not specifically concern you, as long as you are not addressed directly. That is, help can only be expected from a close person, because outsiders do not consider it necessary to take on this responsibility.
Sociologist Ahmed Gashamoglu notes that such incidents mean weak moral values: "In our society, people were not indifferent. Now it seems that society has become different when moral values are ignored, fade into the background, giving way to material interests.
Hashimoglu noted that recently the society has been frightened by the police: "People think that if they intervene, the police will create problems for them. But fear is not only a question of the police, people do not believe in the struggle for justice."
The sociologist also pointed out the problem of education. In the past, in schools, people cared for each other, helped, and now everything is the other way around. -18B-

On the eve of a large-scale flood approaching Baku, a disturbing incident occurred in the village of Buzovna, where a Lada Priora car fell into the ground, literally collapsing the road beneath it. The driver miraculously remained unharmed but vowed to seek justice, promising to file an official complaint with the prosecutor’s office against Azersu OJSC, the state-owned water supply and sewerage company, often associated with deeply rooted corruption.

In a bit of historic irony, powerful oligarch Bidzina Ivanishvili has managed to inspire rare unity across Georgia’s cacophonous political scene twice in his life. His money and influence forged the broad-based consolidation of opposition forces that brought him to power in 2012, and now, 12 years and three electoral cycles later, a similar pattern of opposition convergence could send him packing.
