Baku/03.03.22/Turan: On March 3, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced the start of field work on the Armenian section of the Yeraskh-Sadarak-Julfa-Ordubad-Meghri-Horadiz railway.

He expressed hope that in parallel with these works, the agreements that were reached in 2021 at the trilateral meetings in Sochi and Brussels will be de jure fixed.

Pashinyan also said that Armenia is working on possible routes for highways, including the construction of new roads.

On March 4, a working group of specialists and representatives of the South Caucasus Railway is sent to Meghri to carry out appraisal work on a 43-kilometer section of the railway.

According to Armenian media, the construction of the Armenian section of the railway will cost Yerevan $230 million. -02D-
