Azersigorta does not beed voluntary types of insurance much
The state commercial insurer Azersigorta last year collected 40,951,700 manat, which is 6.4 million (18.5%) more than in the year 2012.
Premiums for voluntary insurance were 3,795,900 manats ( minus 4.5 % per year) , for compulsory - 37,155,800 manats ( 21.5 %).
For all insurance events it paid 13,249,200 manats ( 12.5 % per year) . Here leadership was for mandatory types of insurance - AZN 11,925,100 ( 20.6 % ) and payments for voluntary insurance totaled 1,324,100 manats ( minus 29.9 %).
Azersigorta was established in 1991. By the end of 2009-2011, it was the leader in Azerbaijan in terms of premiums collected and ??insurance payments made. It is licensed to provide services on 28 voluntary and 10 compulsory insurance items.
On March 28, 2012 Azersigorta received a license for the provision of three types of compulsory insurance , including insurance of immovable property belonging to citizens .
