Much of Credit Portfolio of Uni Bank Is Consumer Loans
The credit portfolio of JSC Uni Bank by 1 January amounted to 782 million 444 thousand manats (+ 10% per year).
Most of the loans (60%) are for private users of consumer loans - 469 million 615.9 thousand manats (minus 10.2% for the year). Trade and services were allocated 147 million 246 thousand manats, agriculture - 30 million 445 thousand manats, other segments of industry - 21 million 34 thousand AZN, oil industry - 17 million 902 thousand AZN, etc.
JSC Uni Bank is valid from 6 December 2002. The main shareholder is Eldar Garibov (54.78%), while among other owners there are EBRD (12.1454%), German DEG (6,68%), and Zemfira Jafarova (4.41%). Minority shareholders own 2.68% of the shares. --17D-

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance. This figure, which includes reserves held by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), far exceeds the nation's external debt, which stands at a fraction of its reserves, specifically nearly 14 times less.
